Comfort to the families of client deaths

Imara Foundation makes visits of comfort to the families of our clients who live in hope (PLWA) whenever we get reports of death. Lucia Goshashy and her team made ​​field visit in the wards of Uwanja wa ndege, Ikoma and Rwamchanga. 19 families visited and get comfort

Imara Foundation Home Based Care Providers

Imara Foundation through its department of Home Based Care received support of  HBC kits from Government through the Serengeti District Council together with Africare organization  through its project of Mara region HBC coordination .

The main goal of the department of HBC is "Improving the health of people living with HIV / AIDS physically, mentally, spiritually and socially"

In achieving this objective the Serengeti District Council  and Africare Organization decided to provide equipments to HBC providers inorder to bring efficiency and effectiveness of this service to the community

Facilitating Networking in Conservation Agriculture

Workers from the IMARA FOUNDATION helped organize a meeting between representatives of conservation agriculture organizations and Mugumu farming specialists. Programs such as Farming God's Way were interested in evaluating food security in the Mara region and networking with other organizations working in conservation agriculture. IMARA helped to organize a meeting with farming specialists in the Mugumu region and lay the groundwork for future projects.
